Did you lose or win money with today's (second Dreamhack day) betting?
I believe every operation pass is worth it. You can get twice the money you invested just from the case drops. As for the drop system, it sucks as hell now.
I don't bet because I hate gambling (it becomes an addiction in no time). As for Fnatic, they suck more and more in the last 2 or so months. If Envyus wins this tournament (which is quite possible), they'll become the best team in the world (imo of course).
LG winning them was a nice upset and I enjoyed it.
As for the tournament itself, I can't stand the BO1 format. It sure can cause upsets but damn it's so unfair.

It wasn't really that big of an upset since vexed ( ex - ebettle ) was able to get 10 ROUNDS against them ! and luminosity is WAY BETTER than vexed... fnatic just tends to underestimate their opponents sometimes and they paid the price for it ! Also i think the finals are gonna be envy vs tsm and , this time , i think tsm might take it !

TSM need to take this one. They never got a Major and now it's their chance. They need to do that so that they can be able to say "We are among the top 2 teams for sure"
As for the upset, LG was doing kinda bad in NA afaik in the last CEVO matches if I am not mistaken (Don't quote me on this, I may be completely wrong because I don't follow NA scene that much). Still, we have to admit that Fnatic was the favorite to win. As for them underestimating their opponents I agree on this for quite some time now.

Fnatic themselves said they didn't bootcamp, they didn't even prepare for the tournament much, and also they were quite in a slump few weeks ago.. LG was going some beast mode on the LAN, especially coldzera / fallen hitting those sick shots.
As mentioned, Vexed getting 10 rounds on the first half versus Fnatic (although Fnatic won 11 in a row after), was a sign that something is wrong. If u look at Cologne 2015, u could see they matched against themselves, where Fnatic won dominantly 16:2, and lately Vexed had a BO3 against Fnatic, where they had very close results, 13:16 and 14:16 respectively.
Both teams had the same lineups since the Cologne 2015, so either Vexed improved during the months drastically, or just Fnatic is not performing as they did before.
I'm guessing TSM will take this tournament. They are doing well consistently, playing out of their minds.
And as Operation Passes are considered, i actually was quite unlucky with drops this operation. But still made like 1,5x worth of the pass, due to a lucky drop. I liked the old drop system more though - u knew what u get and from which collection, and chances of getting crap were smaller (although still huge as fk)

I am almost sure it will be Envyus vs TSM in the final. After that it is kinda 50-50, but the best of that day will win (it's BO5 final isn't it?)
Only with the operation cases you get your money back. They cost like 10$+ in the first few hours. With the Falchion Operation I got my money back + some more in just 2 days since I bought it (and I got it 1 week after the release of the Operation). As for the drops I said it and before, they suck as hell. 1 drop per week, no additional drops for the ones that bought the operation etc.

Yes , it is BO5 final... if tsm wins this they are probably the best team of the year ( sort by perfomances , if we exclude their incredible loss against virtus.pro on overpass before this major ) , envyus never won a major and so if they don't win in the finals against , possibly , tsm , they are imho not the best team in the world at the moment.
If tsm wins the tournament :
1) TSM
2) Envyus
3) Fnatic
4) Virtus.Pro
5) Titan ( if they beat nip,if not then NiP)
If envyus wins the final against possibly tsm then envyus is first and tsm second... but that's the list for me !

That's exactly what I meant as well. Whoever wins this Major is the best team of the year. As for the my list its the same with yours until 4th position. After that things get complicated and I really can't decide.
I like Titan very much but damn they are inconsistent af so I can't really give them the 5th place.
NAVI always get close but never manages to do the difference.
NIP gets worse and worse and they pretty much accomplished barely anything in the last few months.
In the end I'd rather to categorize them (as many people do) into Tiers. With the 4 first mentioned as the top, then NIP, Titan, NAVI, HR (I really believe they are great but they lack power on LAN's), C9. Something along these lines :D

New operation will probably happen soon after this major. The pass will absolutely pay for itself with items drops. I made my investment back about 3 times over with the falchion case and new skin drops.

And do you think it's worth buying with their new system of no more drop rewards for missions? Or do you think maybe they have seen the errors of their ways and reverted back to the old system?
Also in other related news Fnatic got rekt today and I just won $30 thanks to EnVyUs so I guess today is a good day, have you guys gotten any luck with betting or did you lose it all on Fnatic? Also what do y'all think about Dreamhack so far?
