i'd try to contact him by steam once or twice, then set as unreceived since it is 1 week old

Need to delete the link and user name, as otherwise it is calling out, a suspendable offense

Some people don't like to be 'harassed' by their winners on steam, but seeing as it's been a week, you should definitely send him a message explaining you never got an email.
It's not that uncommon for e-mails to get lost

It's possible that your email service has rejected the email, happens with my .edu email. Ask them via steam or message them on their steam page that you have yet to receive your gift.

Wait 7 days than contact him and if he doesnt replies, than mark as not received and move on. You didnt lose anything and nobody forces the creator to give you anything.
