Speaking as an American who used to be in Int'l Sales with Canada as one of my territories, I can admit Canadians are some of the nicest people on Earth. I even once sold to a couple I interrupted in the middle of having sex, and they were entirely too nice about it. :X
It's honestly no surprise for me to find out Keanu is Canadian. I've read a lot about him, and he's one of the nicest people. :)

And the weird part is that he isn't one of the more "known" Canadians (such as Kiefer Sutherland and Jim Carrey). He keeps to himself mostly, but he really is a nice person.
There was a clip going around where he ended up having to take the bus (which isn't the big deal), but the fact that he gave up his seat for another passenger (which IS the big deal, at least in my opinion)! He does not have a Hollywood ego at all, and he is a very humble person. The sad reality is that a LOT of celebrities (that would actually find themselves on a bus) would NOT give up their seat for another person, and even sadder is the fact that there are entirely too many regular people that would not do that either.
Alas, there was one not-very-nice Canadian last night. The dumbass that threw that can of beer at the Baltimore Orioles player when he was trying to catch the ball. That idiot could have hit the player in the face with that can, and you are not being a fan when you do something like that, you are being a douchebag. For the record, I am a Toronto Blue Jays fan and am super-stoked that they won, but I do NOT condone what that moron did at all.
