This site has a secret code based upon which it determines the winner.after going through the site and hacking into the servers I found that secret code is "luck".it seems to have definite impact on chances of winning :)

It's all in luck, you joined this community almost 2 months, it all depends on the luck. Someone wins a game 2 days after he/she registrered here and someone will win a game a year after his/her registration.

And repetitive "thanks" or "thanks for the giveaway" doesn't rise up your luck. Maybe it gets worse by getting blacklisted and banned for spam.

You don't have to create giveaways in order to win. It is harder for a level 0 to win because everyone can enter those giveaways and your chances are lower. But keep entering only for the games you wish to play and eventually you will win something. My first win was at level 0 when I was still skeptical about this site.

Good luck and don't listen to the negative comments. You're much better in my book than all those people who enter to win shovelware for a +1 to their libraries.

P.S. public GAs on homepage have often one prize for thousands of entrants so you could potentially never win, but Steamgifts has a really inclusive and interesting community if you feel like visiting the discussion section (where you can find also GAs with fewer entries).

When I was level 0, I won a game on my first day. <shrug> It's all up to the RNG, so you just never know.

But if you really want to win games, you should definitely give a few. You hit level 1 after giving just a single game, and 2-3 are honestly really easy to achieve too. Grab a few cheap bundles on Gogobundle and you'll be level 3 before you know it.

If you found a giveaway with only one entry apart from your own, that would still mean that the other person entering is just about as likely to win. Think about that! An average giveaway has more than a thousand entries, so it's not very likely to win. If that bothers you, then this website is probably not for you. Otherwise just keep on trying and enjoy your stay. I found out, it's all the more fun when you don't expect anything and then all out of sudden you win.

As my son informed me, you have to enter thousands of games in order to win games. Don't give up. Keep on trying. Eventually you will win.

Assuming 1000 entries each on 200 giveaways, that's 200,000 entries, with 200 winners and 199800 "losing" entries, or 0.001%. Most level zero giveaways have a lot more than 1,000 entries, so odds are actually worse than this, but it should give you some idea of why you haven't won.

People have mentioned it, but joining Steam group giveaways can be key to winning faster. Giveaways can be set to be limited to members of a group. Some of these groups have requirements such as creating giveaways, but others don't. If you're able to join any Steam groups that use SteamGifts to give stuff away, that can help too, as the number of entries tend to be far lower in a lot of those cases.

I've seen level 0 users who've won significantly more then me, and I'm level 7. So yes, level 0 most certainly can win games.
