I'd say, wait on reviews for Z, and decide on a game then. If Z ends up being good, it should win on charm and graphics alone, though both games thus far seem to be solid examples of their franchises (meaning the end decision likely'll be one of which franchise you prefer).
The early 2D Dragonball Z games were well respected, though, so there's a lot of hope for Fighter Z having a strong impact.

Tekken is an amazing game but the new DBZ game is something that I've never seen before.I'd say get both.

I'd buy something I can play right now, AKA Tekken 7
