want's a basic tetris by itself. all we got atm is a really horrible official port version, and one contained inside a 5pack of games.

I won't play it but thanks for the gib at least.

If you don't mind, how about something like a bottle shooter? Where you stand on the lower left of the screen, and some bottles fly from the right at random arcs, and speed. The aim is to shoot the bottles to gather points, but your bullets aren't instant hits. The bullets fly in a straight line with a certain standard of super quick speed so the player has to think of where the bottle will fly to instead of aiming directly at it. I hope this makes sense.

If anything, and if there's still spare time left, how about upgrades, and or extra mechnics?
-if a bottle has an arc in which you're in the end path of, and if you fail to hit, once it reaches you then you explode in a hilarious manner/ or flip backwards, or something. Oh, and it also makes you lose points! After reaching a negative amount, then game over!
-timed amount of Machine gun use, rapid fire upgrade?
-timed amount of instant shots? As in the bullet flies in the line its aimed at, but doesn't have speed delay, thus flies through the line completely instantly. Think of it like an instant lazerbeam.
-big, but slow bottle that takes a lot of shots to take out?
-random birb that flies in from the top of the screen to the other side that gives rare upgrades/lotsapoints?
-ricochet bullets upgrade, and or a type of bottle that ricochets the bullet at an angle once the bottle is hit? Combo-ricochet potential? At that, if the bullet hits the player, game over!
-two player co-op possibility? Vs mode?
-a bottle frenzi where a bunch of bottle fly directly at the player, and gives an auto-machine gune upgrade for the time being. Hm

How about making a slightly better than simple game with me? we'll put it on greenlight and if it works, then it goes to steam.
I am an artist/animator for 7 years, and working as a 2d game artist. my boss has ridiculous ideas but I can't complain. they say my writing is good but needs help with English grammar(not my native language). we can both take out time since I think we're both busy on weekdays.

Very fun project you're doing, seems like a good way to practice your skills! It's always easier when you have a real project to work on.

As for game ideas, how about a simple minimalist one-button platform jumping game like Jumpy Cat? :)
