Four 'Skip' options are better than one, right?

View Results
[Tier 1] It might be cheaper to just buy both of these on grey markets, but I don't care for that sort of thing.
[Tier 2] 2K's microtransactions are my bread and butter.
[Tier 3] The Skyrim of skating will be mine, even if it's fairly incomplete without a couple gigabytes of mods!
[Have] I already down these on the regular, along with my whey shakes and other assorted meal replacements.
[Expensive] I only have a Gold Medal in writing unsubstantiated online comments, and that doesn't come with enough prize money to afford this.
[Minnows] Two games with $90 combined MSRP in T3 have less than 150 reviews between them. Are they just hiding junk nobody wants in here?
[CouchPotato] I don't like sports, and that includes pixelated sports.
[Workoutaholic] I'll do my exercise in the real world, not the virtual one.

I'd buy T2 if I didn't already have 3 of the 4 games from T2+T1.

I highly recommend Descenders, which is the most fun I've had with a downhill sports game and the most energizing sports soundtrack since the SSX franchise. It's one hell of a sophomore effort from the makers of the on-rails butt scooting Action Henk.

Can't recommend Descenders enough. When the game just lets you into a random lobby with random people with no way of communicating and then blowing the newbie's minds by doing a standstill wheelie trick is just something I can't get enough of... I probably spent more time practicing tricks and having fun with random people than actually playing the game.

It looks boring, to be honest.

It looks boring, but it is super fun! Doesn't have that big of a learning curve unless you've never touched a controller before. Every stage is procedurally generated and there are a few different environments and you can choose different perks during your run for there to be less ramps, more straight roads, giving you more speed when spinning in the air and more. It's just a really cool game, especially for the price.

Couldn't agree more. Initially, I thought this game wasn't gonna be for me. Gave it a try and ended up even playing a 9h session once. It's really fun and can be either relaxing or very engaging, which depends on if you're trying to just ride for fun or complete a challenge. You can customize your rider and bike, and there's so many maps to choose from – all for free, no additional costs.

That's what I thought! I looked at the game and I was like, "ugh, who would ever play this?". Then, I glanced at it again, but thoroughly this time and it seemed really cool, so I got the Fanatical bundle with it. I installed it, tried it, then ended up playing 4 hours until 2 AM 💀. Incredibly fun and addicting.

That's so nice you like it too. If you ever end up being done with it, I could recommend Riders Republic afterwards. It offers not only bike but also snow races, and actually, for the snow sports, Steep is also good. They're both Ubisoft games and therefore there's a lot of content locked behind a paywall, but for the base content that you do get, I think the games are worth it.

Definitely recommending Riders Republic as well. I know a lot of people prefer Steep's skiing but it's a more versatile game and the BMX and skating are also brilliant. Best 250 hours I've spent in a game!
(Yeah I know it's been 2 weeks but I was on vacation and I'm only catching up to older threads now. Also, no axe murderer to report on my vacations ;))

I was so surprised when I found out that Descenders Next is coming out and that it has snowboarding which is basically like Steep's skiing. I don't really like the DLC system and the fact that both games were published by Ubisoft so Descenders Next is going to be an amazing replacement.

I'm not a fan of Ubisoft's marketing tactics but they do have some great games.
As for the DLC system, it's not really DLCs. They could have released the same game with a new toy added in every 2 years like Descenders is doing but they chose to keep expanding the main game and make it optional to get the new discipline for people who didn't care.

As much as I would love to try PGA Tour and Session, it's not worth it
