If you're only spending one hour per day looking for a job, you're doing it wrong.

Home Depot is usually hiring as are Target and Pet Shops. Should be lots opening with school starting back up in a week or so.
If you are 23 or older I'd suggest getting into trucking. Theres quite a few companies that will hire you, pay you while you're in training,
and wind up making a good buck seeing the country in an office with a view. Cr England and Central Transport, JB Hunt, Schneider, USA Truck.... Theres a bunch, Id recommend Covenant Transport or CR England, they seem to be better companies.
Good luck :)

At least you had an interview and, if you explain what happend to you, you could win something. Interviewers tend to think that, if you go to the inverview after something bad happened you are commited to get the job... So its a "plus".
For me, too much time without one. A litte bit insane i am right now.

You can get a cheap mopet or put a motor onto your bike when it is fixed. Transportation is a must for me, don't know what I would do without a car.
I have the opposite problem where I don't want to work anymore, but I get paid too much to want to leave even though I don't have any money issues. First world problems.

I don't have any specific job recommendations, but I do want to advise you to not blame yourself for your job prospects (or lack thereof), regardless of what happens and whether you can find a job. Your inability to find a job, much less one that suits and satisfies you, is the result of an irrational socioeconomic system that is incapable of providing employment to all who need it despite the physical capacity available to do so. This socioeconomic system is called capitalism and it is especially bad now that is it breaking down, perhaps irreparably. The issue of unemployment is a social problem that can only be solved with a social solution; since that social problem has globalized, as well, it now requires a global solution. To internalize this issue of unemployment as if it were an individual problem is as absurd as is attempting to address it as if it could be solved with an individual solution, so don't do so no matter how tempting it may be.

An hour every day? When I got laid off a few years ago, I spent 8-9 hours every day looking for a job until I got one.
I made looking for a job my job.
Hope you get your bike back in shape.

I'm trying to get a job for a month now - no luck. Had only one phone interview and that's it. Got first-class for my bachelor's computer networking degree. These guys just don't know how good I actually am. :(

Sooo, this loser right here still has no job. Been spending about an hour every day for the past week applying to jobs to see if I could get anywhere, and I finally get contacted for an interview today. Yay right? So I was getting ready, took a shower, yadayada, and I leave my house on my bike, insert no income for a car here. Now I did fill the tires with air since its been a while since I used it since I live in AZ and its too hot to ride around more often than not. But after riding for about 5 min, I think why the heck is it so difficult to ride this bike!? I know I'm not in the best of shape but like come on you know.
Turns out the back tire of my bike is broken. I don't even know how though. The tube is displaced in multiple places of the tire, aka pretty much need a new tire, but rip for having no bike repair shop within walking distance of my house.
Soooo after my unfortunate, anyone have any recommendation for a place I could apply to that I might have missed? No experience on me yet and hopefully any of those places are near my house.
Will probably add a giveaway later on, just a little frustrated atm for not being able to get to the first interview I've had for quite a while...
