Heh, a little bit of story, as this game is funny one.

First thing, this game was made in Poland, which is an important detail about beginning of game.
Second, this game is remake/mod for other game. Base for "The Troma Project" is game which is called in Poland "Rezerwowe Psy" (which is a pun for "Reserviour Dogs" movie) and is turn based strategy (a'la Xcom or Jagged Alliance, just weaker) making stupid jokes and references towards lots of movies everywhere (Pulp Fiction, Dirty Harry), with heavy use of drugs and sex (every mission makes your guys stressed, to unstress them you had to go to whorehouse and watch some digital sex scene for few seconds/minutes).

Original game, while totally rubbish game, had it's charm with all those puns towards gangster-movies etc. (especially for people in Poland, as first two missions had tons of jokes about situation in Poland around those nearly 20 years ago, heck, at start you have to pick either a character based on Travolta in Pulp Fiction or main hero of polish movies "Psy" - "Dogs"). No idea how entertaining this remake/mod is.

If you'd want to try this game (because you either want to try another, but this time really weak, Xcom/Jagged Alliance type of game, or just want to unstress some guys ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) I think unless you're a fan of Troma movies it might be better to find original game (if it even exist in English language...) to get puns about more known movies.
