yet they carry kunais, knives, ninja stars, which once un sheathed or thrown creates a reflection. Any how if you a ninja no matter what you wear you make sure you don't get caught. Oh and I would never compare Naruto to twilight; which is the crappiest books and movies ever released.

The entire point of IRL ninjas is to blend in with the crowd, or otherwise remain inconspicuous, before and after you strike. Sometimes being inconspicuous means being as conspicuous as possible; after all, everyone knows that ninjas are inconspicuous, so if you're being distractingly obvious, you can't possibly be the ninja.

Naruto ninjas are really more like armies' special forces units, and therefore would wear some sort of uniform.
