Why can people create giveaways with contributor limit of twice what they contribtuted? It's stupid when you think of it, I create a Giveaway that I cant even enter? The maximum should just be what you contributed, without doubling it...

So what exactly is the problem? It's not like you can enter your own giveaways. So what does it matter how much contributor limit you have? I would understand if you wanted to be able to put even higher values, but to want lower limit? Why?

You have the option of setting your contributor limit to anything that you want. I don't see how this is a problem.

to reward those who have done better than them. i guess the only reason someone would have a problem is if they haven't contributed the said ammount and is jealous of those who have... which can be fixed by contributing more.

To reward/say thanks to people whose generosity (and games) they have benefitted from?

I don't see a problem here.

If I want to reward generous contributors, why would it matter how much I gave away?

This is the better point than listening to someone who blames users who wanna reward these generous users who spent more money than themselves.

For those of you that say "to reward people who cotributed", I'm not talking about the contributor idea itself, i'm talking about the idea that you can set the limit to twice your contribute, it should'nt be twice.
Reminds me of hitler, and wanted everyone to be tall (even thought he wasnt), and wanted everyone to have blonde hair (even thought he had'nt) and ETC. Same way as some people say "you have to donate 50$ to join this giveaway", even thought they only donated 25$, it just stupid

Wait... Did you just compare Steamgifts to Hitler?
Also, why does it matter? It's not like you could enter your own giveaways anyway.
