and you base it on...? so far we can see that he gace away 24 public GAs and 0 private ones. MAybe he wants to run a puzzle? Or an event with prize of GA for top X contestants? or anything else?

But yeah, better just assume he want's to cheat, without a single evidence, even more call him out publicly on something he haven't even done yet.

when i get into forums I tend not to open threads one by one, but rather open all that I'm intrested in (so none got burried before I get to it) and then start to look through them one by one, so it happens some replies/edits show before I post a reply ;p

to the topic - so what that all his GAs has been for bundle games? Majority of top contributors was starting mostly or solely from bundle games as well. He could have made a thread for any of the reasons mentioned before as well. Innocent until proven guilty.

Oh yeah, and before you bash my giveaways maybe you should look at yours. Bundled games is what I can afford to buy and give back to the community. If you don't like them, nobody is forcing you to join them. But I bet you've joined some of them.

Just to be even more bitter, I took the liberty of checking your steam profile and wishlist. Some of the games I gave away are on your list. And there are tons of others that are on sale right now for less than 2 euros, yet you're not buying them.

Maybe before you bash someone for their "bundled" giveaways, you should check yo self. (yeah, that's an Ice Cube reference to go with the burn).

You edited your initial comment. I bought 3 bundles because I love Warhammer and I still have 3 CoH keys and 3 CoH 2 keys from those bundles. Warhammer it's always been one of my favorite RTS games on the market.

Frankly I don't care about your opinion, I was just interested to know what your initial dumb comment was.

The number of entries has no effect on the validity of a giveaway, only on whether it adds CV. For that you need 5 entries.

All these people saying 5 are right, but note that on public GAs (with or w/o levels) ANY number of entries give CV.

So now it's 5 for private, and any for public?

If a giveaway is invite only, or for a whitelist or Steam group, it will only add value towards your level if it receives 5 or more entries. This is in place to prevent small groups of friends from attempting to cheat the contributor system, and to encourage users to expand the reach of their giveaways. The whitelist feature offers an easy way to target a larger audience, and you can combine it with small Steam groups to receive a greater number of giveaway entries if needed.
