What picture you like the most for a jigidi puzzle?
About Fibi: I had to take the same decision for my siamese Ilargi (means "moon), different reasons, but they lead to the same: don't let them suffer more. I am still troubled about remembering that day which was a total nightmare, so I'm with you, mate.

It's a purple dragon plush toy.
That day was special for her. Cats by instinct like to watch from medium-high places. I was spending all the morning putting these new shelves in a corner surrounded by other furniture. When I finished and placed all my books and (physical) videogames collection, I thought that was a nice place for the dragon. My cat was pretty amused with all the work, but not much more. I got her and put her next to the dragon and... That was a change. She never saw the room from that perspective nor so high. She straighened up, reduced the pupils to the thinniest slit, and all these beautiful lines appeared in her iris. Sign that she was more than pleased. The time she spent there until she got tired and wanted to get down, I think she felt like the queen of the world.
Or, rather, more queen than other times. She was always the queen, and she wouldn't understand why her human slaves wouldn't understand and follow her orders.

Oh you are right! Sorry, missed the wings. xD
What a beautiful story. <3
yep, my cats always try hard to get higher up... even though there is no way for them. Leading to situations like Gabriel hanging on the doors with all of his might. xD
The human slaves are so slow to understand their rightful masters. ;)

Sorry to have hijacked your thread with my own cat stories...
But I've known many cat owners. We can talk about our cats for hours and still we'll have anecdotes for more hours.

Thank you for your kind words! And you are right, they stay with us forever. :)
Fibi was the first cat in my family. I have two (both sacred birman). My parents got a new Maine coon and she is now five months old. :3
Haha, what a beautiful pic! They always find the best place to take a nap. <3

My condolences for your beautiful Fibi, no matter how long they've graced our lives or how humane it is to relieve their suffering it never helps the void that remains afterwards, my family has had to say goodbye to more cats than I care to think about, it never gets easier. I'm also sorry you didn't have good fortune with the first vet, it can make all the difference sometimes; although it's not what I wanted to hear my current vet's thoroughness has given me early notice of serious health problems for my beautiful Ollie, it's been a shock but at least now I have the time to change things and give her the best chance of more time that I can. We've always got less time than we think it seems.
On a more cheerful note thanks for the beautiful jigidis (esp the ever so dignified pose of your handsome Gabriel 😁), I'll be sure to give them a spin once I've got some free time and also for the generosity of the giveaways at this difficult time. And as for the poll, while I always enjoy doing a space/sci-fi or nature vista, I dare say as a hopeless cat person....well you can guess the answer 😀. Cheers and better days ahead I hope.

Thank you for your kind words. <3
The sad thing is that the vet was very devoted and did many tests, but completely missed this. We can't be sure if finding the cancer sooner would allow the doctor to operate her, but those two months of uncertainty were hard...
Oh my, I am sorry to hear that. I hope you will have a lot of good time together. <3
Yeah, sorry for the gloomy talks. ;) I am happy you like them! Haha, he strikes a different kind of poses all the time. xD
Thank you for your wishes! Hope you too have happy times ahead. :)

Reminds me of "All dogs go to heaven" with its style, probably what their inspiration is from

Happy you have enjoyed them. :)
Thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot! <3 My parents still sometimes call on their new cat with the wrong name, but we laugh about it now and it reminds of Fibi when she was a kitten. :3
Thank you for the support! You too! :D

So it's going to be 10 years already... time flies for sure. But! In my case, it's actually only 7 years of activity! I suppose I repeat myself with this, but I really don't remember my first first time here. Do you? o_O My second first time hooked me and dragged me down to the depths! And even though I reduced my presence here I still lurk around from time to time as there are events I like to return to and giveaways I can't resist entering. Oh well, the backlog fight continues.
All those years here gave me a lot - new friends, new games and new skills! I learned how to make puzzles, crack a cipher or dedicate my time to write reviews for games I completed. So thank you Steamgifts community for having me all this time. <3
I have prepared a little something for you - two jigidis of my tomcat Gabriel chilling out and my blooming orchid. It's nothing much, just a few bundle leftovers that the majority of you already own, sorry for that. ^^ Giveaways are open to 16.6.
A little side note. The turn of the year wasn't exactly happy as our Maine coon cat Fibi got diagnosed with kidney cancer. Sadly we learned late about it from the second doctor we visited as the first one didn't find anything wrong with her even though she wasn't basically eating and lost her weight very quickly. The prognosis was bad, so we decided to ease her suffering. It's still very hard to talk about it... We arranged for her cremation and we keep half of the remains at home and half of them we put around our cottage where she loved to be.
Anyway, why I am bringing it up here. Well, Stars In The Trash is running a contest where your pet can win a spot in the game. I thought that maybe I could get Fibi immortal like that, hah. ^_^ You can check her photo (and of other cute pets) in the contest gallery. And if you find some pets appealing you can maybe toss a vote for them or even submit your own! :)
Edit: Thank you for all the bumps! <3
