Got scammed... and I don't understand! (and celebrating being scammed with a whitelist GA)

They've got your $5.7 and your shit outta luck. They'll scam you for single cards because in the end it all adds up.

The scammer lost honour on the first scam, now it's just $5.7 more "rich" He probably spends all the day scamming people.
Probably could spend all day helping people (as a service) and earn aprox the same.

Report him, never forget and always check before a trade.
It happens at everyone once :(

The chance to get something for "free" corrupts so many souls. Pretty much every human has the potential to succumb to this, albeit in varying degrees.

those 5 bucks are a montly salary on some countries, you really dont know shit :/

Always make sure to trust the person you're trading with that is not a scammer and has a good rep in his trading history. Never proceed without knowing if the trader is a scammer or not. Lesson learned I guess :)

Who doesn't love getting scammed?

Thats a bummer, I got scammed for $35. The guy bought the key from a site using a bad credit card. It went through and he traded me the game and then when the card was found to be bad, the game was removed from my library and I got no compensation for my loss. It really stunk and made me lose a bit of faith in trading with game keys.

It always blew my mind how heartless people can be online just because they can get away with it. I would like to believe that Karma catches up eventually with everyone but as you get older you tend to see , even that isn't true a lot of the time. I guess such is life :/
I'm sorry that you got scammed but hopefully you have gained something positive from the experience.

i think lots of those scammers are little kids who don't have any money. 6$ means, they can buy a new game or something.

Don't you think it would be a good idea to post the scammer's Steam profile so everyone reading this could report him/block him?

It sucks you got scammed. To you 5,7$ is not a lot, but after he scams 100 people for 5,7, that's 570$. I hope you reported him to Steamrep, so that other people don't get fooled by him :).

Well, I got scammed twice in one day :D
Opened a chest on Gameminer and got Dead Bits (which is a scam, it is a free game and it's not even advertised on the list of obtainable games)
Later that day, some guy scammed it from me xD

that is exactly my thoughts, I mean, hell ye , half a million worth it.... but this little thieves, just don' get it

I feel sorry for you. I've only been scammed once: traded a bunch of games for a game collection - that soon after vanished from my inventory. luckily the trade was done through the Steam trading window, so Steam support restored the games I had lost in the trade ... after a few weeks of writing forth and back.
