I suggest starting to look into groups potentially...

Winning is just matter of pure luck.
Enter ga with less entries to make chances better or enter just things you really want for bigger chance for game that you actually want to play ;p

Anyway - keep entering and you will win something sooner or later.
Also check groups (like unlucky-7), look for ga's in forums (usually less entries) and puzzles on forums (much less entries - but you have to solve puzzle first).

But you're not especially unusual....I only enter for games that I know I want (and you're probably similar) so of course we're going to win less.

300 entries for your first win is not uncommon at all. Trying to enter giveaways in the forums usually will give you a greater chance so I would suggest looking there or joining groups to increase your chance of winning your first game on SG. Best of luck!

Took me 800 entries to get my first win. Be patient, it will happen eventually.

As for the games you've given - don't see it as a trade. It's really not. It can be about enjoying giving other people something to make them happy. Or about putting leftover keys to at least some use before they rot in a text file. Or maybe about enjoying to level up on the site, and therefore getting access to high-level giveaways. But you shouldn't see it as a mere trade of games. That's not what it is. Seeing it as that will only disappoint you.

My first win took me 1500+ entries, and that's pretty usual from what I've read.
The Unlucky7 group is one you might want to take a look at.

winning here isn't worth much anyway. it can rarely be that type of game you're looking to play.

It depends a lot on what you're entering. For most things the odds of winning are 1 in a few thousand. Just keep at it, you'll win something eventually. You could try and join groups to increase your odds or focus on giveaways with level requirements.

People always so impatient. Also, the community is supposed to be about giving more than expecting to win. I've won more as I gave more, but it's all about the community in the end, not winning games.
In any event, if you're thinking about leaving then it's cool, better chance the rest of us winning. ;)

You've only been here for 2 weeks give it time, like many have already said 300 giveaways entered is really not enough to be discouraged by not winning especially if there was a lot of entries. Even people who win a lot often have given more than they won. Just be patient and try to find giveaways with less entries and as you level up you'll get better odds.

Click 10.000 times more and you'll everntually win a bundled game worth 0.5$.
It's up to you to decide whether this 'win' is really worth it.

If you enter low-level public giveaways your chances to win will be low. There is a ton of private giveaways in this forum with better chances to win and you can join groups where you will get better odds. Since you didn't got single win you can join Unlucky 7, very cool group for unlucky people. Also there is Playing Appreciated group, you can apply there, they demand for you to play your wins which is not very difficult requirement lol. And of course be patient, i got my first win in a month after joining, its normal.

Join groups/whitelist and you have a higher chance of winning.

Now I have:

16 gift won
19 gift sent
1,19 ratio (3,2 real value ratio)

Only 342 entries? It takes rime, my friend. Time, patience and RNG luck.

5 years here for me, 43,522 entries and only 204 wins.

Then again, that's 203 more than I expected to have. :P

I've been sitting on an 8 fewer wins all year.

I suggest applying for Unlucky 7.

It is called mathematics. If the average chance of winning a low-level giveaway is around 1:1500, then you need to enter around 1500 of them, on average, to arrive at a statistically high chance of winning one.
Granted, I had a winner who registered a few minutes before, had his very first entry on the site, and won.
