When base game and DLC are from different regions

I picked up a few copies of Saints Row IV - Season Pass from the Australian store a while back during a price glitch. To my knowledge it's not region restricted per se, but the content in the Australian version has been altered to remove the dildo bat ("Rectifier").

I'm wondering, can anyone with Saints Row IV activate this DLC, or can it only be activated on an account with the base game from the Australia store?

You need to check the "parent" AppID for your DLC. If it's the same for the Worldwide version, then it can be activated, but you won't have access to the missing content.

Can't figure out how to check this. Can you take a look? I these would be the relevant items ...

How would I determine compatibility from these?

Both ROW and AU main games share the same AppID. The AU season pass should work with the ROW base game without problems.

Note how the base game has the same AppID.

Compare this to Dishonored, for instance:

DLC for Dishonored won't be compatible between regions.
