This is getting ridiculous.

Far Cry 3 works better for me, I'm not into the whole loot n shoot approach of Borderlands 2. yeah the game is quite funny, but not really interesting. Far Cry 3 kept me going till the end. The story sucks after a point, but the charecters are very good.

Borderlands 2 is more fun if you play it with friends

Borderlands 2.Because it have more weapons,levels,bigger open world, uhhhmm...but..do you know the real definition of insanity?

Single player, Far Cry 3, and it's not even close. Borderlands 2 was the single most dissapointing game of the year for me, even though it's STILL a good game. Multiplayer however, BL2.

Haven't played Far Cry 3, but Borderlands 2 is insanely fun with two or more friends !

Borderlands is absolutely best game with open world. I played in first part,and it was something awesome. I always recommended that game, if you wanna laugh a lot :D

Haven't played Far Cry but I've put 126 hours or so into Borderlands 2 and have completed the game with three characters on normal mode. Almost completed the second play through with my first character. I'd say it was well worth the money I paid.

What people expect to achieve by creating this threads "Game A or B"? There are so many reviews, video reviews, gameplays over the Internet. Just read, watch them and then decide. You can't based your opinion on what others like.

I have both.

Borderlands 2 : Played for about 44 hours with friend. This game is fully loaded with guns, destruction and fun.

Far Cry 3: Played single for about 18 hours and still i haven't end it (i love long playing). It's like the rambo but in our times. Also it has multi and co-op. Multi is ok, played some matches but it's not game for multi (imo), co-op that i played with 2 friends is ok.

So, if you search for co-op with someone, don't even think about Far Cry 3.

If you search for long playing: Borderlands 2

If you want to try to be sneaky, set the traps, hunt for everything you want, get drunk, take some drugs, see some naked tits and alot more: go for Far Cry 3.
