There's Steam group that has tried it already. Half-Life 2 was in top 10 played games, but sadly there was no reaction from Valve.

I play that on a regular basis, tyvm. And I won't change my avatar picture because it's not something Valve will look at/care about, and because I've gotten way comfortable with my current one.

I'll play the two games on those days, but I'm not buying that pack on the store

This isn't going to make that new Half-Life game get released any faster. If anything they'll be like "Oh, people are playing Half-Life a lot. Neat."

Its not like they dont know they can hype up everyone by just beginning to work on a new installment...
They know everyone wants it (outside of myself), so they probably will work on it sometime...

But just wait and it will come, maybe they are working in secret and dont want to hype it up like duke nukem or sort.
