Yes many low-tier developers are putting more and more stupid prices to their games. You see they're scamming you with those prices and the discounts from day zero.
But sadly it works and they keep making money out of asset flips and crap, so it'll continue.

Luckily, we're easily able to observe this practice. It's like how RE7 is almost always on sale for 30.00 USD, but still is listed as 60.00 USD for full price despite being several years old. 50% just has a ring to it. Also, it's constantly on sale.

Hey, it's hard to compete to "Market Sales - The Game". It's thrilling to see what prices go up and what goes down.
