Steam is not working

Ok, first of all hello :D
My steam desktop app is not working. I open it and it just stands there loading and doesn't load anything.(weird right?). The only thing that it loads is the Library. It also manages to download games, but other than that nothing. This started happening after the latest Steam update.
Any clue to what is up with Steam?

Yes, i checked but when I did it said that the steam community was up and running and I couldn't access it. Anyways thank you. Good to know it's not me.
