GTA IV with mods looked better, you're right. Maybe it's some early version or so. For me it doesn't matter, I'm gonna buy this game on premiere, cause I'm Rockstar fanboy.

I would be happier if it looked horrible and provide numberless hours of fun unlike GTA 4 which looked good for it's time and it was boring after 10 hours.

I remember the days when 64-bit sprites looked amazing, now you have this eye candy and it looks horrible... facepalm

WHat are you talking about? the screens look gorgeous. Besides, if you judge a game solely on graphics, then you miss out on a TON of great games

Couldn't agree with you more.
I recommended the original Deus Ex to some guy who liked Human Revolution and said he wouldn't play it because it looked like shit.
He then tried to compare video game graphics to women by saying the following.

Some games need good graphics. I tried to play GTAIV on PS3 and it totally sucks. And on PC it's great.
