Well, the game will be removed from steam store, but i'm sure it will still be available in retail stores and places like G2A as steam keys. Similar stuff happened with Prey (2008).

Here in Russia you can buy the retail key right now for $2.5, while on steam it costs ~$6.5. (with the discount, ofc. base price is $22).

Deadpool. Activision have to pay licensing fees for having the game on store. Once again, the license is about to expire. They are not instantly renewing it because a) people afraid it will be gone for good and rush to buy it before it's gone, b) they will save a few bucks by postponing of the renewal. Since the Deadpool movie breathed a new wave of popularity into the Deadpool brand I think there's a very little chance Activision would pull the plug on this game entirely as there is more demand for it then ever. And that might apply twice as much next year when the sequel is out. They even re-released it for the new generation of consoles two years back, so there's definitely still a place on a market for it. My best guess, the game will be back on store before the summer 2018 to surf on the wave of Deadpool 2 hype.
