What do you think about Daylight? It will be good, bad? (hidden treasure inside)

tbh, I'm only interested if the game includes a Unreal engine 4 benchmark. First game that is released in unreal engine 4.

I watched Pewdiepie play it. I don't know if what he played was the whole game, if it was, it's fairly short.

I do not play horror games myself, but this one looks pretty decent. I am not helping you at all, am I? XD

I am not into horror games but I did check some info on this game. Afaik, the games style is pretty similar to outlast which you are isolated in a small playable area. So even you are planning to explore every room every corner, the actual length of this game could still be short. But I don't think horror games should be over 20 hours, that is crazy. I found a vid on youtube that developer said they want it to be Japanese style instead of American style which means there will not be much blood, gore and things like that. And they did mention that Unreal Engine 4 can procedurally fill rooms with furniture but I cant do this in my Unreal Engine maybe I am not good at level design :/ And it is powered by Unreal Engine 4. As fas as I can tell, even though it requires better pc, it is still well optimized since UE 4 provides more details and new features like physically based shading. So with a great engine, the game won't be bad unless they don't know how to develop a game or they want it to be bad or they don't care about it.

Looks good, I will continue watching it from one Youtuber if he's gonna beat the game, for now only 1st episode :)

hoh boy, looks like it sucks.

Almost half an hour in and I am seriously disappointed. There's a still a chance it will leverage something, but I doubt it. It's definitely not a good game to show off the Unreal Engine 4 either. I can't remember the last game that displayed such obvious 2D fire sprites :/

Extremely disappointed with the game. There is absolutely no redeeming quality to the game. :(

I FUCKING HATE IT. But really only because the name is so close to Dying Light and whenever news of Daylight is released I get excited and then I realize it's not Dying Light :(

Thank you all guys for making me sad as possible for the game being bad (by your opinions). Still didn't had a chance to play it, maybe today i'll have a little to play it.
