How do you handle it?

Don't know about other countries, but here in Germany we drink it with a slice of lemon and salt (or with a slice of orange and cinnamon for Tequila Gold).
Though I am sure that limes would also do the job xD

♫ What about love? <IT'S DEFECTIVE!> It's always breakin in half! ♫
one of my favourite Meatloaf songs. The whole album is killer.

I know just a bunch of his songs, but they're really good, considering both the music and the words! :D

Bat out of Hell II was a very good album. I don't have much else to compare it to though because I haven't listened to any other album by him. I got into this at about the same time I was as into The Phantom of the Opera (Original London Cast) soundtrack.
Metalhead but listen to Opera ¯\(ツ)/¯

I love Symphonic Metal, thus I know how you feel :P
Whenever I have some time I will explore a little more Meat Loaf!

Great! :D I could have presented it in a better way, but I was quite tired :/

I eat raw lemons sometimes, but I have to buy them. If Life gives me lemons for free, I'd still eat them but also thank life for the free Vitamin C yellow banks. I've played the Portal games and I love Cave Johnson, so that's my backup option if I am mad and not in a mood to eat lemons...

I had to Google "zest", crazy!
how come I had never heard that word?! XD let's do a little bit of research..
it derives from French, zeste, ultimately from Greek skhistós/skhízō meaning something like to split, to divide.. well I could have never reached zest from schizophrenia.. (same root)
we say "buccia" in Italian but I was wondering.. how the hell do I call those orange and lemon things? I mean, probably "skin".. skin goes for everything.. don't you peel the skin of an apple? xD
Anyways even if I'm northern italian and i was born here in the '80s, we have always had 4-5 lemon trees that give me lots of lemons every year, although they need to be covered for months in a garage 'cos you know, snow all around and sub-zero temperatures.. I love lemons! =P and they can grow even here in the north! so the first answer is definitely appropriate for me, life gives me lemons for free through my trees and I eat them xD
but southern italian lemons are way better =P

Oh, I see!
in fact, rind sends me to scorza, while zest translates as buccia.. although I actually am not that able to make a difference in Italian between scorza and buccia.. in fact we use scorza di limone..
though context.reverso.net gives me: lemon twist (?), lemon peel and lemon zest.. this for "scorza".. while "buccia" is always translated as lemon peel..
BUT IF I translate "zest" then it gives me only "scorza"..
not a single "rind" translation.. if I search for it, that website gives me dozens of "crosta" which is something even different.. and that in Italian can't be applied to fruits, only to cheese and such.. but also the English examples refer to cheese.. or "pork rind" which we translate as "cotenna" (pig skin)..
there's some crazy s*it going on here! zest became a verb too?! ç_ç complex lemons!!

Haha. Well, if it helps, lemon zest is usually grated using just the outside colored portion of the lemon peel. Lemon twist is lemon peel that's cut into a spiral. And lemon peel, or rind, is the part you grate, zest, and cut into twists. And the pith is the bitter white part of the peel.
Who knew that lemons could be so complicated? And some even make a distinction between lemon peel and lemon rind - saying that the rind is the zest and a portion of the white pith, while the peel includes the whole white pith section. /shrug

thank you so much! well, I'm an historian and I really have never had the smallest interest both into the English language and into the Lemon argument.. (I'm forced to write in English, I know, but we forced everyone for centuries to write in Latin XD).. now I got everything, thanks xD I know many new words and I'll look at my garden lemons under a different light from now on =P
