Yes DOTA will be F2P and this is a good thing. If someone buys the game it doesn't mean he is PRO.

DotA 2 is going to be retarded tf2-like hat and misc simulator with tonns of newbies around, I admit all normal players will leave D2 soon.

I think it's too hard for 10 years old kids to play, so maybe the first days might be a bit WTF OMG NOOBS REPORT WTF 'cause of the newcomers, but i think it would be ok after a while... (hope so)

Well, free to play is confirmed since today and Valve does not do this random free character thing.. thats cool.

I think its a good thing.

i just think game should create a system so you won't play with ppl who never played before...
something like "to play a online game, you must first complete 2 matches against bots" (multi or singleplayer)...
somebody with 500 vicotries will have lower chances to play with ppl who got 1... for example...

Dota 2 is not newb friendly, because a single player can make the 1 40 min match a really pain in the ass...
so just something to ppl learn a little bit before playing for real.

Every online game has a small community of elitist jerks, it's pretty normal. Just ignore them and move along, they can't hurt you from behind the bars.

Valve should implement a point system into the game where players that perform well will earn points and then matched with other players with high points.

I think it's a good thing ... I mean I want to play it casually, so it would be frustrating only playing against self proclaimed "pros" - I want to score a kill too, you know ;)

There is another Issue of Newbie leaving And if more Newbie Join they will Leave Every Match before End(This Come from Dota Experince)

I do wonder how those ''noobs'' will learn the game if you condemn them from the start ? Is that a magical gift you get from birth ? Tolerence and respect doesn't mean much in certain communities , I am aware of that but it will only effect the game badly. Not because there are ''noobs'' playing for free...but rather '' There are many aholes in this game ! '' .....and nobody wants to play with aholes ...

Yea......because TF2 going F2P really contributed to its downfall. Get over yourself! You're not a game designer, nor are you a business analyst. Valve is the only company that truly did F2P well. With TF2 being a shooter, it was easier, but nonetheless, they know what they're doing.

So, Dota 2 - the game that's practically F2P RIGHT NOW will be worse after it's release, because nothing will change and it will stay F2P. Because fuck logic.
