Trades - keys only?

What I understood, trades were created, so people could trade stuff, not games for money, weren't they? Also, since when keys became a currency? Is there ANYBODY who wants to trade games for games (if more precisely, Dragon Age™: Origins, Dead Space™ 2, Bejeweled™ 3, Mass Effect™ 2 for GTA V :) )?
