Problem with Steam

go to steam folder, delete everything except steam.exe and steamapps folder! Run steam again!

It might be something with internet connection.

aight, try doing this, press and hold your Windows key and R at the same time, a pop up some come up. type in "ipconfig /flushdns" now try and see can you access the steam store.

Mac or PC?

//edit actually any other variables? Like Wine? Mac client is known to be shit and does that from time to time. With Wine you might need a new revision. On PC if you have CCleaner installed it can cause your steam HTML cache to break, but then removing some files should work.

Happened to me few weeks ago. Full OS reinstall worked :) (It was coincidence, I was about to do whole re-install either way)
