what could have stopped you before.. it was only broken temporarily for 30 seconds after a few hours, and then I only added a barrier later (minimizing a user's wishlist size).

Hrm.. shouldn't you just keep those marked as 'Not Received' until you get it? It doesn't hurt the creator or you until it's delivered?
I thought it worked that way unless it auto-marks it as received if you do nothing once a week passes.

That would have felt wrong cause I DID receive it, it is available as a giftable prepurchase. Annoying fringe cases :P
If it's not available at all and you did not get anything you should not mark it, you are right. Though I would go with "not marked" instead of "not received" just cause it looks nicer I guess. And there is no automatic marking as far as I know. The creator can request it to be set to received if he can prove he sent it

Ah. Well, people who make games that can't be activated yet, I assume, should be understanding of how sg works. So I wouldn't have marked it anyway because of the non-activation hit. I forgot that 'received' really should mean 'activated' though.
