Sega Master System and Phantasy Star. I don't know who thought this was a good gift for someone about to turn four, but I thank them for it.

My first was a Wii. No, I'm not THAT young (still fairly young though). I got it when I was like 16 with my own money, because my parents were really against consoles when I was growing up. I'm 21 now, and it's still my only console. I still play it now and again too. My first game was Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2!!

My stepfather had the NES and SNES with various games, but the first system I personally owned was a Gameboy (the original). I got it for Christmas with the original Kirby's Dreamland, Link's Awakening and Tetris.

I think my first TV console was a PS1 (somehow a friend in middle school ended up with 2 of them, one of which he gave me), and the first games I myself owned would have probably been Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII (which that friend's mom bought me while we were at the video game store.)

Console - Mattel Aquarius
Game - Nightstalker

I was five and I told my brothers that there was an invisible robot in the game once that you got to a high score, but none of them believed me until 20 years later when I found it on gamefaqs. <-cool story bro
