TBH, when they put a support ticket option there they have to know if they can handle the responsibility or not, otherwise it's just plain wrong and excuses like "They are humans you know? And have more things to do." are Not acceptable!

Indeed. And I can only imagine the number of tickets they get, not even counting tickets for inane questions or false reports against users. I've worked support for a fairly larger site, and our average response time in some areas was 2-6 months.

You unbelievably entitled fuck, they are volunteers that make no money off of it and spend a significant portion of their free time on it, aside from jobs, family, etc., and have a team of about 10 people to deal with the tickets of 254,652 people. A lot of which break rules, don't know the rules, trade wins, whatever. I know of one mod who even skipped sleep a few nights once to help deal with the flow of tickets at the time. Again, someone with a job and a life. Think for a second before you post.

I'll be watching this one out of curiosity. I had a deletion from a staff member that was an admitted mistake on their end, and my limit wasn't raised after going through support. I don't think they'd hold a user mistake with any higher regard, even if it were truly an accident.
