Would you consider the lottery a scam? That is what steam gifts is, you are entering a contest for a slim chance at winning. People have won on the lottery and people have won on steam gifts, it just takes a lot of luck.

Let's consider this: Do you believe in equality. Like real equality? Where people are given EXACTLY the same rights, regardless of their status, race, sex, etc. Because I don't. There are so many examples... Rich people, or celebrities, are given more privelege than ordinary people. Men earn more than women. You're bound to win something, but I can't guarantee it will be a legit giveaway, because some people don't know they have to obtain the game they're giving away themselves. And then give it to someone. So there are duds to be expected.
