The New Year just past，I sent a cs go and a Serious Sam 3 to my friend for New Year.But I have not received anything.Is that the bad luck of the year start？I'm very depressed....I have a few dota2 gift，who want for free？Although it has been a flood.....

It's not bad luck at all. But you should never intend on giving in hopes of receiving, that defeats the purpose of giving.

Same here really, gifts aren't exchanged in my family or amongst my friends, just some cheap drinks. Besides, all my money gets spent on Christmas presents!

Seriously...? New years are only for 3 days and you haven't got any gifts? Some people wait for months to win something here. And if you hope fgifts from your friends, well, they suck. they are not your friends :D

i got containment from my husband on new year, but giving is a better feeling then recieving plus it raises your karma :D

So you just give things out to get more gifts in return? :P If you're going to gift with a mindset like that, perhaps you're better off just buying games to yourself?

I give people things because I like them and want to make them happy. I always feel like gifting people back when I receive things, but I don't have a lot of money, so more often than not it's not something I can do. And I'm sure many people are like that too.
