Must be that whole bird flu thing in China. The Colonel is yearning for his chicken, but they're all being slaughtered.

Look mac, all of us who are single get lonely.
But writing poetry just makes it worse for everyone.

Gladly! We also put a special drug in our chicken that turns you into a communist!

The amount of syllables is just fine
Too many syllables would be crossing the line

a poem is shared
to ridicule on steamgifts;
forever alone.

The food was tasty as my friend said it would be
But after an hour it was a catastrophe
It felt like a missile from North Korea
But then I realized it was explosive diarrea
So after cleaning up my waste from hell
That was the last time I ate from Taco Bell

I... feel... the urge... for literary criticism! Can't stop... it.... now....
This poem is written in the form of dialogue between two voices. One is negative, forever alone, crying about it's misfortune; the other is it's counterpart, the voice of reason, who claims that every person has it's good side, which is often seen by others even if we do not recognize it ourselves. Kant said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but that is not limited only to beauty as something superficial and dependent of the culture and society we live in, but also to the whole image we, as individuals, create about one person in general. Sometimes we see ourselves in one light, and we stick to that image so strongly, that we forget that others see us completely different. Your man does not care if you did not have time to shave your legs this morning because you overslept, he finds you interesting and sexy because of the way you read comics on the Internet, which is something you would never, ever, think of as "something", nor something that gives you the edge over the girl next door who is, in your opinion, prettier than you are. The other voice grows bold in time, showing us that passionate nature of a man can overwhelm his shyness when true love comes, or that the long exposure to loneliness can transform a poet into a crazy lunatic who can not make the difference between gaming forum and Facebook. Also, thanks for Skyrim.

Don't worry, my brother, you are not crazy...
Your vision of the world is simply hazy...

There is something inside me, a hole in my heart
Something that has yet to fulfill it's part
It is something that I want so bad
Because it is something that I have never had
