Steam Christams sale, what are you going to buy?

Second that, #2 and #3 on my WL.

Oh, that's great news. I kind of always felt like the Nier games were put together by luck and force of will, so it's great to hear that they're getting the green light to do a sequel. I loved the original Nier, but Platinum is a much more capable studio, and it feels like the original had more aspirations than budget / time / talent, while Platinum is able to deliver to make the idea a reality. Really looking forward to playing Automata now. :)

The Zero Escape games are so good, some of my favorite VN / adventure games. They work really well on the 3DS, with the stylus taking the place of a mouse during the room escape sequences. The dual screens work well, letting you reference one thing while working on another. I imagine on PC, the mouse would make navigating the room and selecting parts of it even easier, but I'm not sure how they'll handle the note taking aspect - though with a PC you're likely playing at a desk, and thus it's far easier to just get out a piece of paper and take notes for real.

I do know that for the PC version, they fixed my biggest gripe with 999. In the DS original, the path you end up on can feel random, there are far more paths that lead to bad endings, and getting the true ending without using a guide can take more replays than necessary. And while you can hold down the A button to fast forward, there's so much text that you often end up holding it down for minutes at a time. If you play on the 3DS, I highly recommend finishing one route and then using a guide of what choices to make to get to the other routes.

For PC, they added the awesome flow chart from VLR, where you can see your choices and how the paths split out when you make a choice, and once you finish a path you can click on a previously explored point on the flow chart to go to that point and thus get right back to the choice so you can make a different one. It lets you explore all the paths without having to play through the game from start to finish, as well as making it easier to find the choices that lead to different outcomes.

Steam sales are lacking since they removed daily/ flash deals

You don't need games, just CSGO keys. It is also more convenient and faster to find what you are looking for that way. Also that is a very nice list.
