So I won a copy of a game and activated it. This is a thing we generally do here, yeah. But, earlier today I get a message that it's been revoked from my library due to some sort of payment error. Seeing as the first key I got from the gifter was invalid, it's easy to assume there was some shadiness involved, probably from a bad key reseller or something.

Anyways, I now have an unactivated win on my account because the game I won isn;t there anymore. Should I pester the gifter for a third key or just try and get the original giveaway deleted?

Stab the gifter with a pointy stick.

Can you still mark it as not received? I would do that first, then contact the GA creator to see if they're willing to replace the key. I don't think you can request the GA deleted, or would really need to.

Received/Not Received never lock, you can switch between the two (or having neither activated) as you need.
Though typically you'll want to post in the giveaway or put in a support ticket, saying you did it, and why, to cover your ass. :P

Mark it as not received and leave a message on the gift page. That way he will see your message and respond.
If you believe he is being deceitful (check his profile, try to find out if it happened before to other GA's he made and if he has too many not received games) then don't agree to delete the GA and try to get another copy. If you believe it's an honest mistake, well it's up to you then. You can either agree or not.
