I was thinking of starting Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller, does it count as a long game for this? By the way, you might want to be more stringent on those proof for finishing a game.

I can't rate it as highly as you. Even though the cognition powers are well implemented, especially regression, the plot is so contrived at times and the writing is iffy. In one of the commentaries, the dev talked about how he wrote some lines but only realized those lines don't make any sense much later. And by that time, he could only get one of the voice actors back to record again so only one of those problematic lines was rewritten, which doesn't really help make anything better at all. Those lines still don't make any sense within their context. This actually says a lot about the state and quality of the game itself.

It's been a while. I remember liking it a lot in the beginning. Then I got the part were you go back and forth in time. I hated that part. The end felt a bit rushed. I thought that the time-traveling part was in a different chapter from the ending. I guess, they're both in chapter 4.

Not that it really matters but just to make sure you don't remember the wrong info, the time-traveling part is in 3. 4's starting is in the past but you can't 'time-travel' in those.

Is it ok to play games that I've idled but not played? The game is called Labyronia and stated in the HLTB its 17h 41m. Since I've just recently cleared my f.e.a.r all 3 episode, its time to clear another game :D

- Final Dusk ( My playtime on this one was idling for cards )
The star wars one is 8 hours to beat main story
With Final Dusk the only time submitted is 12 hours, but it's completionist, so i don't know what to think about it
EDIT: As i recently won Tropico 5 i will be playing it instead, Main Story is 20hours according to HLTB

For me, looking at solutions would ruin the fun/challenge of the game. But I can understand. So I have this other one that I'm interested, just not sure if would be able to achieve 100% in a month:

Sure. You can play TIS-100, if you want as well. BTW, you don't need to 100% a game for it to count. beating the main story is more than enough.

Thanks! I'm a software developer but this game is hard even for me! took some time but I managed to finish the main section (story) and the side achievements. The last achievement will take way more time, but it's not part of the main "story".

I've only won a few games - Circularity, Star Wars Starfighter, and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. The latter two are short and medium, but Circularity doesn't have a time on howlongtobeat. Am I able to qualify if I do all three?

I don't know where you got that 13h 33m for Lost Castle nor the rest, but when I talk about game lenght, I'm talking about main story time. In Lost Castle's case, for example, it would be 8½ Hours, therefore a medium game.
However, since both Sacrifice Dungeon and Trials of the Gauntlet seem broken and/or with no playtime, I guess you could participate by beating the rest of your games.

I used howlongtobeat.com to track my game list, but it seems it shows the lenght for everything in the game not only main story, guess that's why. By beating the rest of my games you mean just Lost Castle, GG and Suits?

I've been thinking about a fresh start for a little while and I've decided that this event/GA was the way to do it. I emptied both my black and whitelist for this, therefore everyone has the exact same chance to win the game their heart desire.
The TL;DR: Play sg wins (if you have already played 100% of your wins or know someone who has done it, let me know and you/the person will get a free pass) -> get invited to a WL GA -> Write whatever game you want in the description of said WL GA before it ends -> if you win the WL GA, I'll buy the chosen game for you.
The complete rules:
1) Choose some games you won here and finish the required amount(The playtime should be based on Howlongtobeat.com average main story time), according to the table below:
Edit: Some people are having doubts, so let me explain. You either have to play 1 long game OR 2 medium games OR 4 short games.
Games started/finished before the start of this event(18/05/2018) do NOT count.
2) You will have until the end of the GA (~1 month) to prove it to me, either through a screenshot of the ending scene/credits or a link to the corresponding achievement page. (The game needs to be beaten/finished, which means no endless/multiplayer-only games)
3) If you manage to beat enough games and to show me some proof, I'll whitelist you, giving you access to a giveaway.
4) Write the name of the game you want inside the WL giveaway. If you win it, I'll buy that game for you. (The whitelist GA is more like a placeholder, but you'll still get it, if you want)
Don't forget to write the game you want before the WL ends. Think about it before writing it down, I won't accept changes later. Do NOT edit your post inside the WL giveaway. You'll be disqualified.
