I ended up winning four games. They weren't on my wishlist, but hopefully I enjoy them.
My own carts have finished, and keys have been sent. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to all participants.

Hello, thank you very much for the making this train. It was fun. Have participated it the most carts of the train..... had a 75% winning chance ( information from the statistics of the site) ....and have lost every single time. Such unluck is difficult to find. LOL. Congratulations to everyone who got the games they wanted.

I ended up winning 3 games, which makes me feel a bit guilty since I only collaborated one giveaway myself, I'll try to prepare better for the next one so I can make more carts.
Thanks Fiddler for organizing the event yet again, and thanks everybody for participating!

I'll have to see if I can get a few keys ready, nowadays there's so many region restrictions that the only semi reliable source of region free keys for me is Indiegala's store, and not all of the their games are region free. Humble went crazy with the region restrictions, Fanatical got kinda pricey, I spent days trying to buy from GMG but kept getting errors every time, DIG is too shady for my liking, Lootboy is in the process of going belly up, and Steam itself has been useless for gifting for years now.

Well, it's official: 0 games won, as was fully expected :)
What I wasn't expecting though was to get scammed out of a key. Turns out the key had region restrictions unknown to me. When the winner found out, he secretly activated the game on a different account 3 minutes before telling me that he couldn't activate it. Steam support confirmed the activation time.
The cost of the key doesn't bother me. What bothers me is the duplicity. I was even nice enough to send the winner a consolation prize and promise them a copy of the original game if I ever came across a region-free version of it at a good price. Oh well. Hate that this fun event ended on such a sour note for me.
Hope the rest of you had better luck with your winners!
[Update]
The winner responded to me. His version of events is as follows:
After finding out that the key is region-locked, he sent it to his friend to "check its availability" (whatever that means) thinking that his friend had the means of doing so without activating it. Apparently, said friend activated the key without telling him.
Do you buy this story? Not sure if I do. What's the point of checking a key after Steam tells you that it's restricted in your region? I don't know if there was foul play involved or if it was just an honest mistake. All I know for certain is that the key that I sent was valid and was activated by either him or his "friend". The gift should be marked as received imo.

you have been blacklisted. perma-blacklisted. you will never ever leave it. never.
.you're a s h a m e. internationally.
.
blocked all communications on Steam, with you and all your friends.again, huge shame
do as what you think is right
Katana is doing it, you HUGE SHAME. why you say you're sorry. you don give a fuck, since hours.
what terrible persons SG has to have.
say thanks to cg, always kiss cg in his face, each and every morning, YOU, SHAME.

Such a terrible thing happened, didn't it?😢
There are such pricks in the world, not only in SG. If the prick lived in the same area, he should be criminally charged with fraud.
In the meantime, if I know the name of the bad boy, I'll go after Shirikodama as well.

I'm so sorry that happened :( Tinykin is such a special and sweet game too... I personally think this person is being dishonest, as that excuse makes no sense! Especially all within 3 minutes... and the "friend" would have said that they activated it, so then this person should have told you that? Like c'mon...
A respectful person would let you re-roll, not take whatever they can get and let you feel bad, possibly buying them another key/giving them another extra game to say sorry, I would feel sick if I did that to someone 😞
Some people have not learned how to be kind or honest, it's not your fault for hoping that someone would be!

He knew well, what he is doing. Have he told you to delete giveaway? If you let it unrecieved, we will know who that user is. I believe I am not only one interested in that information.
Took a while to find. Cart 786 if someone else is interested.

Yeah, he agreed to delete the giveaway... almost too eagerly. Erasing all the evidence would've been so convenient. Luckily, I chose to keep it up. I didn't want to publicize the cart # to avoid starting a witch hunt against a potentially innocent user, but it's clear now that he took me for a ride all along.

Do you buy this story?
not one bit, region on their steam profile(Netherlands) doesn't match the one they are trying to activate in(Turkey).
definitely should get marked as received, the key you sent got used and winner should enjoy their consequences.

It seems, that the winner activates the key on his own second account (Manuel Calavera is main character from Grim Fandango game). Or maybe it's account of close relative, but surely he has the access to it.
I believe he should mark the key as received, since he used it.
P.S. How: see the picture

Great catch! That puts my mind at ease that I'm not falsely accusing an innocent person. His insistence on lying and pushing the "friend' story is even more appalling to me now. Don't know how people can lie with a straight face to someone trying to be nice to them. shrug

if he has confessed this on chat, please take screenshot and contact support. your key was activated by his friend which will be counted as an alt account.. steamgifts has clear rules, all keys won should be for personal use and activated on own account. he broke the simple rule and should face the consequences.

Oooooh!
No wins in the community Train! I had 78% probabilities on the 28th and around 50% more on 27th, but no luck this time
Where is Mi Carro?
Anyway, I only made 1 cart, and have win more than i have given here. I hope that will change in the near future, but this summer has been busy, and I need to make some more gifts to catch up.
And of course, thanks to everybody! And in the next one maybe I can get a nice game.

Entered around 250 giveaways from the train, had a 62.24% winning probability and went home with nothing. Shit happens. :D Well, at least I gave away 19 games myself so I made some other people happy. And those got me to the next level, so there's something. Thanks for the amazing train, FiddlerOnTheWeb and everyone who made a giveaway. 3245 giveaways... that's a lot.

By the pages that i have in the entered section and finished in the last couple of days I probably entered in around 500 carts. And not only the biggest ones, plenty of giveaways with 100-200 entries. But no win. And I'm sure there will be plenty of others in similar condition or worse. In the end it's just for fun and maybe discover some new game...

Wow!!
Well, my surprise is not that people are not winning even after entering so many GAs, but rather that people were able to enter so many GAs. I know about how it's possible to bank up on points, but even then I can't believe it would be possible to enter so many GAs.

Well, if you enter in about 20 entries a day for almost a month it's possible.
Most of my entries of the month were to this train.

Didn't expect to win anything anyway, so I'm not too sad about it.

I got plenty of games from this train, so very happy about that :)

The OG behind this event is Xarlor who came up with the first community train .
it was done again by UserCar007 with some changes that i have decided to keep. which were disallowing DLCs and adding a game value requirement .The Third one was done by me .And I was greatly helped by Canis and icaio. There was a 4th one byDragoZeroNova. 5th was again done by yours truly with the help of Canis and icaio. The 6TH also by me. and the 7TH by yours truly, Arwiee , The 8th also by me.
i know i promised last year that its gonna be the last community train i ever made and i even got mods to perma ban me to make sure of it.
well
i lied.
in my defense its your fault for believing me.
BOARD THE TRAIN
