I think this thread is more rude than him sending you a chat message. He is impatient which can be anoying, but is not rude. He is also not rude because you live somewhere else, you merely implying that.
All in all, its not calling out. We just wait until you receive the gift and we know who it was. No harm done? Maybe.

Actually in many cultures impatience is seen as being highly rude. End of the day patience is just good manners after all.

Yes it is rude, i would have understood being impatient if he had already delivered the gift/key/whatever and the OP had not marked as recived for a number of days. No one is forcing him to actually chat with the OP he can just mail the key like normal people do. Also threatening to find another winner is just pathetic.

Given what little activity his profile shows, I'm assuming he was unable to join two years ago. Check his stats, I'm sure you will see he only used the site recently.

This is why I always gift via Email. It's fast, and since I state it in each give-away that I will email it, they are surely going to check it fast, and then be done with it. Instead of having to hunt them for days and going trough all that mess.

In Steamgifts, the recipients are the kings, which is the hidden rule.
So I don't even need to read the whole story to conclude that the gifter is on the wrong this time. And he is even more guilty for giving away a bundled game, another taboo in Steamgifts.
Getting bundled is like getting AIDS. No matter how respectable you were, once bundled / infected, you will be somehow discriminated.

All went ok! Just a bit nervous as it was his first time. Because of different time zones we weren't online at the same times in the first few days.
Topic edited for positivity as that's always good!
