Nah, it's some china philosopher, but we thought that was Yeltsin. That's the source of my childhood fears.

You just aren't 5yo kid in CIS. But it's kinda funny. In 90s in neighbor country asians slaughtered russians, in mine nationalists and criminals killed each others, there weren't enough money and food for everyone 'cause of economical crisis. But my fear was about some creepy TV logo.

Thanks, I used a photo to see where the shading was supposed to go more or less, as my first try with just the dot-lines was looking way too flat :/

The Mount Rushmore Challenge!
Where: South Dakota, USA
What: The heads of four US presidents carved out of the mountain side.
Interesting facts:
George Washington (1789 – 1797) was chosen because he was our nation’s founding father.
Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826) was chosen to represent expansion, because he was the president who signed the Louisiana Purchase and authored the Declaration of Independence.
Theodore Roosevelt (1858–1919) was chosen because he represented conservation and the industrial blossoming of the nation.
Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865) was chosen because he led the country through the Civil War and believed in preserving the nation at any cost.
It took 14 years, by a team of over 400 men, to carve the whole thing. 90% of the carving was done through dynamite, and most of the team that worked on it was miners that was in the area looking for gold. So while they weren't artistic, they had experience with explosives and jackhammers.
The carving was originally meant to include the bodies of the presidents down to their waists, but because the funding ran out, it was considered complete once the heads were finished.
GOOD LUCK on the challenge! Create for us some breath-taking masterpieces of Mount Rushmore for some awesome GA wins!
