Buying tier 3 is almost always a mistake, except for when you are really hyped for a game and want to play it right now, or you want to support the devs. Tier 3 games almost always get rebundled for cheaper later on.

Nice bundle! Thankfully they have everything I'm interested in in tier 1 again.
Don't care about rage inducing platformers (always quit playing them after 5 minutes, I have no patience for that), waifu simulators (or whatever anime lovers call that stuff), I hated Gunpoint and I already have DotT. If only I knew what next week's unlock is (yay, it's backl!)

Nice bundle but I'm a little sad they brought back week 2 unlocks. Makes it hard to judge if a Bundle is worth buying.
I guess I could lock the BTA by buying T1 and then upgrading if I like the unlocks but that seems like an awful lot of work.

It might also have to do with the fact that I never got a game I've heard before (without doing extra research) in the week 2 unlocks but I was of course exaggerating.
It also adds an extra entry to my bookkeeping :P

Well, this is exactly what keeps me sticking to the bundle hype: all the discoveries of new games. But that's just me, we obviously have different takes on that matter here :)

I think it's still extremely easy to judge if it's worth or not, as there is only 2 in BTA. The mystery game is not there, don't count on that - and then no surprises there. Don't be like the guys over at the SqEnix christmas bundle, waiting for Just Cause 3 AND Rise of the Tomb Raider :) Make a decision based on the known things, not the speculated ones.

Don't worry my expectations are somewhat more realistic like for example another good Indie Game. I guess Starbound is off the table since that would be the Bundle seller but something like LISA Complete Edition would get me stoked.
But you're right it is a rather easy decision... Already have Day of the Tentacle and haven't checked out Deadbolt yet so I grabbed T1 to help bring down BTA a bit and locked at 6,19€ just in case.
Edit: Just curious but why so sure there will only be 1 unlock. Didn't it used to be 2 normally ?

Lately I think there was only 1, sometimes 2... I'm not sure. I do remember the Hexcells complete + ABC murders to be an unlock with Elegy for a Dead world quite recently, so there can be anything. If you're referring to the table - originally there was 2 unlock cells, but Mille changed it to one - sometimes she said because she doesn't want to feel that she's suggesting anything, as she also doesn't know the number of unlocks.

Not at all ;) What you said is actually very good advice it just doesn't fully apply to me.
I wasn't referring to the Table just remembering from older Bundles. But you mentioning ABC Murders proves me wrong saying earlier that there never was a week 2 unlock I was interested in.

T3 is worth 30$. No matter what they add to T2 T3 will remain worth 30$. Price of T2 varied from 5.88$ to less than 7$, So T2-T3 price difference depending on when you bought the bundle was between 3$ and 4.12$ (aka you paind 3-4.12 extra for 30$ worth of extra games). That means that discount of T3 is between 90% and 86,27%, both far qaway from 95% bundle-list limit so it's extremelly unlikelly for T3 to go on bundle list. For it to go to a bunlde list BTA would have to rise to over 8.5$ which would make T3 discount bigger than 95% ;)

Right at the beginning there was a number of $25 purchases. Which pushed the price up to $7+ and held it there for a bit. They didn't go through at the same time but it was more systematic. When the price started dropping back there was another surge when the $650 purchase went through.
It's really easy to fix. Give no money to charity and no money to HB so they just funnel the money back to themselves.

Why is it nonsense? Devs can't talk? Looking back at it, the $650 is probably a typo because it kicked in just as the bundle was dropping back down below $6.50 (big ouch that one). It just had the effect of pushing the price back up to $7.50. My point remains, though. Why is there a bunch of $25 purchases as we hit launch time? Are people desperate to lose out on that special $25 deal? In the past I have seen similar situations where there are a number of big purchases ($200+) just after the deal launches. If someone is going to spend $25 which is more than double the max tier price then they wouldn't be worried about missing out on something like the launch BTA.
