I got some kind of problem which I decided to ask for help today... More than one month ago, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter was free to play (I guess at least)... Since that time, my account in Steamgifts has registered the game. And even though I have synced for like... A million times since then, the game is still in my account... When I don't own it at all. I never played it at all, yet it is there... What also makes go.. crazy is that Steams shows that I've played the game for 7.1 hours... But I NEVER played it... And not only this game is like that, but Steam also shows me that I've played Battle for Graxia for 0.9 hours when I don't even know that game... This one though is not registered at all in my account depending on Steamgifts. So, can anybody help me with that?

Battle for Graxia is a free to play game. All free to play games are "apart of users library". But as to why you have time logged to that game, I can't speak to. If you have ever played a game that had a free weekend, thats why it is in your account library.

I see. But still, I never played ANY of these games. The only free weekend game I've ever played is CS:GO...

your account must be hacked, change password and your email password before it's too late. someone must have been playing on your account

if i'm right, battle for graxia is free to play.
try to look into your harddrive, to delete local files from serious sam, and sync your SG account after deledting. may take a while for steam to realise you deleted it anyway, but you can try. got that problem myself with "killing floor" few weeks ago. but now its allright again.

But why would steam download them by itself? I never downloaded them/played them... That's very weird...

Having the game on your harddrive would have nothing to do with SGs.

Yes Mutiplayer was F2P for short time.

I feel like that's something that probably shouldn't be mentioned here.

I don't know what greenluma is. And as I said, I'm not sure if it was f2p, and I was actually talking about free weekend.. not f2p like tf2.

"Battle for Graxia" was called "Rise of Immortals" a couple of years ago.
Most of us played it during the 2011 winter sale (for the achievements).
I don't know why is it renamed though.

Same reason The War Z was. Because it was shit and no-one on Steam stuck around for it after they got the achievement, so they're hoping a name change fixes their bad rep.

Actually WarZ was having legal problems because of the movie "World War Z".

Okay, bad wording on my part, but they are still hoping for the name change to fool people. There's plenty of similar names to The War Z they could have chosen without stepping on World War Z's feet (though, honestly, given how crap that movie was, they can step on each other's feet all they bloody like).

War Z actually put off its name change for months. First word of the conflict with Hollywood was around January or February, with the boss saying that it wasn't an issue. Turned out it was an issue.

I'm not saying that Hammerpoint didn't see the benefit of the name change, and moved to take advantage of it when they had to. (I know a couple of people who almost bought Infestation because its trailer makes it look like a decent game, before they caught on that it was just War Z renamed.) But Hammerpoint probably did want to keep "War Z", probably with the hope of conning people thinking it was a movie tie-in the same way that they rode the name similarity to "Day Z".

The title should've been; "Go home Steam, you're drunk".

It only happens if you play torrents that had an online DRM crack.

Like Grid 2 pretended to play as Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter while playing the online crack. So stop torrenting.

What the actual... [censored]??? Online Crack? If I pirate a game, I use a normal crack...

Admitting to being a pirate on SG is not smart.
Edit: Also that's how your 'normal' crack works. I'm not going to explain why or how but they pose as other games in order to run, less effort on the crack developers' part.

I see you didn't wait long with the tagging. XD

And I also admitted I used to be a pirate few times on SG, now I wonder if there are people who gave me that tag as well. D:
