I see on youtube videos, can install linux on nexus 7 tablets.

I can install steam on linux nexus 7 tablet and i can trade on it?

Depends on how the linux / web browser operates. If you end up on the mobile Steam site / having to use mobile steam app then no you can't trade in there as far as I know. If you can somehow install the desktop Steam system, then you might be able to.
