Such a mature nickname. -_-

Guess it's too much bother to just try reinstalling windows?

at least it's guaranteed to work though...

His nickname translates to poopsmellsbad, while i am not generalizing it gives an estimate of the age.
I seen so much computers of young kids loaded with full of crap in which the pc barely ran nor they can be bothered.
If you are 10 or 50, keep a good backup plan, install windows, install all programs you need, backup and periodically return the backup, update your programs, make a new backup, and you don't have that much work.
Just like you need to remove dust once a while inside your pc, you need to remove the dust on your software (there are always leftover files).

I can't understand why is it bad to be a kid? It's not like the rest of use popped out of a vagina being 20+ years old :D

Then you pop in one.

There is nothing wrong with it, and i don't know the story, but just my point in their pc's usually being full of crap, and can't be bothered to just reinstall windows (or even know how) because that would surely just solve the problem.

Maybe try running msconfig and see what you have running at startup? http://www.howtogeek.com/74523/how-to-disable-startup-programs-in-windows/

Yes, I also think that this should be the first step, to check if "explorer.exe" is starting up at log-on and which program may start up at the same time and might prevent it from loading.

i checked all the progams that started up during the startup and it seems like they're all safe.

What did you already try? The most common solutions seem to be running a scan for malware.

i already did a MCAfee scan and AVG but it didnt find anything,

I don't think they scan for malware though. Try using Malwarebytes (or whatever it was called) to scan for malware (malware != virus).

Are you running Mcafee and AVG both?
Cause having 2 or more antivirus programs with 'realtime protection' running at the same time can generally cause bad side-effects.

Only AVG

There is a start up folder in windows, it opens what it inside of it on start, maybe if you put a shortcut to explorer.exe (Windows folder).. (unlikely to work anyway)

Link --> shell:Startup

this might be the easiest improvised way of fixing it, maybe not ideal as it doesn't adress the root of the issue, but should work fine

I'm quite sure there's no need to get into the registry though... not in previous OSs at least

tried this method but didnt seem to be the solution still have the black screen.

but if you manually run explorer.exe it works? then I believe it should work to make it run through startup

yes, would you like to have a list with all my startup progams? i can make screens, i have disabled a lot of the unnecessary things i think

Result of the SFC Scan

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.

well, check the log for errors
my last sfc scan brought up some OpenCL stuff, but I believe it's not too relevant, thus ignoring it for now

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files

That would be your modified shell. SFC compares your files to the installation files and replaces any corrupt or missing files. Your shell customization replaced windows' version of explorer.exe with a modified one. Most shell hacks create a backup of explorer.exe and will replace it if you uninstall.

If it doesn't replace it upon uninstall, you can always pull your OS drive and attach it as a data drive to another PC, delete the modified explorer.exe, and rename the backup to explorer.exe (or copy it from a working Windows install).

I had the same problem a while back with a customer's PC. It was a program that would occasionally load before Explorer, and it would cause Windows to stall when loading. It was just a black screen with a tiny window in the lower left that could neither be maximized nor minimized. Nothing but a CTL-ALT-DEL would allow a reboot.

I rebooted into Safe Mode, disabled all startup items and unnecessary hardware (in case it was a bad driver), then rebooted several times into Windows, enabling one of the disabled items with each reboot until I figured out which it was and removed it. I don't remember which it was off the top of my head, but I want to say it was some crap spyware app they had installed.

EDIT: Shell customization "hacks" can cause similar issues.

I customize mine, too, and never have problems, but some apps don't play nicely with shell hacks.

I had a similar issue on windows 8 once. Turns out the start is back was outdated and didn't play nice with a windows update. Its an alternate start menu. You might have an application causing it too.

Given the possible indication of using customization hacks, it's worth noting that certain programs will remove or edit the explorer.exe registry entries in order so "their" program will launch instead of the windows default. Depending on how they're later removed (or just plain sloppy programming with the uninstaller), they may fail to re-enable the default registry entries.

In the Registry Editor (regedit) navigate through the folders;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SOFTWARE >> Microsoft >> Windows NT >> CurrentVersion >> Winlogon
On the right side look for Shell and check what the value is. If it doesn't say explorer.exe then edit it to such.

If there is no such folder, create it.
If there is no "Shell" value, create it. Create a new String Value, named Shell, with the data value of explorer.exe
