Thanks for sharing the stories.
In a war there are no winners
You can't fight for peace.
I remember a comic where a small boy walks around with a toy gun. We won the war, didn't we he asks his grandfather. Oh yes he answered, we won the war, but we lost, and then mentions name of friends he lost. After that the boy throws away his toy gun. That's so true isn't it, and still we haven't learned anything at all

You are right, a war does not know winners. When it comes to Syria for example. I can´t imagine that one side could feel as winners after this cruel war. So many lifes lost, so many people injured, tortured or mental broken. The whole Young Generation is lost. They only know war and violence and they did not get a proper education at school.
Edit: By the way, the war in Syria is now longer than the WW2.

I could not pass the check (only at 0.77), but I would like to bump your thread.:)
I've read some interesting historical facts from your group so far in some of the shared-group giveaways that I have entered.:)

Thank you for creating this train. Even after all these years World War II still defines our lives here in Europe and is still the cause for unending debates, though I like to think we have become better people for it, victors and defeated both (there are no winners in war).
I've read some of the stories on the giveaway pages and will hopefully have the time tonight the read the rest.
