What do you think? Should valve do something soon?
I played csgo a lot, when I decided to break I was lem.
1st match a guy was promoting his cheats, spamming his website.
2nd match add something like 6 smurfs, basically more smurfs than normal players.
That's not funny and a game is supposed to be funny.
Now I play only with friends in premade, 1 match or 2 per week, maybe even less.

Playing 1-2 times per week duo with friend (both supremes) have seen only 1 cheater in last 100 games and he got his vac ban in 3rd round during the game. Also when i started smurfing i got supreme after 15 wins, so there is no problem for people in lower ranks, because i was ranking up after every win literally as every smurf.

Game looks pretty alive to me.

Plus the operations give a new case when they come out, and the chance to get a more rare and expensive drop for ranking up. Got a $140 skin during the Wildfire...

woah. Only rare skin i got from drop was like ~2-3$ , while in case for like 7$, the rest 1$ or 0.50$ each case.. and then it gets stucked in my inventory when it reaches below 0.09$.. i still have some 1-2$ skins in my inventory but decided not to sell them..

Yeah for the most part I got skins during it only worth $0.30 to $3.00. Glad I sold that one skin though, Factory New Hot Rod (s) had dropped in price majorly and is now worth about $70 instead of the $140 I got for it.

Hm CS:GO? More like CS:Dust2. Seriously mm for any other map takes ages sometimes.

It's been like this from the beginning, and it happens in EVERY OTHER MM GAME OUT THERE. No matter what Valve does, it will not rid cs:go of cheaters. Just report and move on. If it's not comp, just go to a new lobby. Yeah it's annoying as fuck but there is nothing you can do but report them and hope they play a comp with their hacks so they'll get reported, put into overwatch, and banned. But, most of the hackers use a fake account or a bought account just to hack because it's "fun".

The price you pay for dealing with Valve sadly, they've become just another massive internet corporation with a monopoly. Customer service is non-existent, hell customer satisfaction is barely even relevant, expecting anything beyond the bare minimum to keep the cash rolling in is plain wishful.
It's tragic, been playing CS for almost 15 years so it' hard to say they owe me anything, maybe it's just time to move on. Probably say the same about Valve as a developer too tbh, not competing HL basically because they don't feel like it left the worst taste in my mouth.
At this point it barely seems like a sacrifice.

yep dying... I have ~3.500 hours on csgo. the game is worse and worse... No hitting.., only 64 tick servers., more and more skins.. terrible..

I loved this game so far, since I was late to the party and picked it only last year. But I have constant problems with "Your computer blocks VAC from working", which doesn't let me play anywhere, and no solution worked for me. So I just sunk my soul to dota2. As the time went by, I realised, I like to watch it more than play it, cause I have potato PC and other random problems. But, anyway, the price I payed for game and the price of souvenir packs I got made this game basically free for me plus it payed me to play/watch competitive.

Still don't get it why people play the game. Its filled with cheaters, trolls and smurfs a good 5v5 is hard to find u usually and up getting wrecked or u wreck them. Also the guns how do they even work one time i was just jumping and spraying my AK below my feet and i was getting kills like what?! 900 Hours in the game | 100 Hours afk, 100 hours serious playing, 700 Messing around and trolling my friends because i got bored.... Just find a new game in a different genre there are no good competitive shooters atm so :( Overwatch is decent but its unbalanced and the competitive system doesn't work.

So I clicked "Fallout" and was expecting bad rats, was disappointed.
If you really are interested in opinions on the topic, I can mb say something meaningful.
Cheaters and smurfs are somewhat a problem and both can be solved, but Valve seems to have other priorities.
1st, there are decent anti-cheat engines with bans on hardware, Valve just needs to open their purse. I suppose Valve has some reasons not to do this, or mb some plans. It is a real shame that today cheat software is good enough that some popular youtubers/streamers aren't even scared to use them.
2nd, I suppose that the main problem of csgo (and most other online team ladder games) is matchmaking algorythm/engine. In fact it does not provide the match-ups which it is supposed to and the mvp system is just total bs with those bomb plant/defuse :D. It is even worse than cheaters :D but it actually can be tuned to treat smurfs differently, solving the problem.

GO is doing fine, but Source is dying. The original CS has over twice as many players as Source. Kind of sucks because I like Source the best out of the 3.

im not a racist or have something against the russians
but they are destroying me every match
not only comp also casual
on casual they vote dust2->Mirage->dust2->Mirage->dust2->Mirage->dust2->Mirage-> and again and again
on comp it would be easy to take a bomb place when all 5 are attack ONE place, but they are walking around for sightseeing
wanna say not only the cheaters are the problem, next to the cheaters is the tickrate doing trouble....

Mannnn, not this again. Alright, let me explain how this works. Try not to get offended as im trying just to explain you why most of the things you said are false.
The players that you consider cheaters/smurfs :
-aren't actually cheating
-have played a lot of CS1.6 and especially CS:S (which is very alike CSGO) [i have +1300h in CS 1.6 and +1000h CSGO]
-Are actually a smurfs with +1000h on main account
Since PRIME, in 50 matches I've seen probably only 1 cheater, or maybe 2. and the one im talking about was doing an exploit on dust2 that has been fixed.
Im currently DMG, ive been LEM(after the nerf update, not before) and i can tell you people actually know how to play and are less toxic in higher ranks.
Is true that valve doesnt really give a shit about their game, they only want to get money out of it.
You may see cheaters in lower ranks because they get a new steam account, buy the game and use the cheat a few matches then, they get banned rightaway (not really, but after 1 day depending on how obvious was it)
Therefore, you should not complain because you may just not be as good as u think at the game.
I had 1300h on cs1.6 and i still started ranking up from Silver Elite. Made quite a nice couple of bucks from operations, betting, etc, got myself to LEM for a while, now im playing CSGO casually and im in DMG. I got bored of the game...I still play to level up weekly to get the item drop, but im doing that mostly out of boredom as the $0.04 i get from the item arent quite appealing.
Protip: Try not to play Dust2, just uncheck it from match selection thing, and try playing 1-2 "casual" games before heading to competitive. Playing deathmatch is also good, if not better. Practice is the key my friend.

Clearly, there is a massive problem in MM with the number of cheaters and/or smurfers ruining the MM experience for other players. As far as cheating goes, Valve should be handing out perma-bans that are indefinite in length, but Valve also need to be more proactive in dealing with cheaters in the 1st place. By doing nothing now, Valve are letting CS:GO slowly die, atleast the community anyway, which is the player base of the game.
From what I have observed in my time playing MM (I have over 2k in-game hours over the last year or so, as well as countless hours watching pro competitions), the problem started getting worse around 6-12 months ago...there was an influx of new players, some of which simply bought cheats instead of learning the game. Due to the increase in the player base, because of the increase in the popularity of pro CS, this has led to an increase in the number of cheaters. This has become a viscious circle, with the pros constantly being accused of cheating because newcomers don't understand the mechanics of the game, therefore, using cheats in everyday MM to imitate the pros, under the assumption that it's ok, because the pros do it, in their minds atleast. Leading to more cheaters, and so on. I'm sure you can see what I'm getting at.
Seeing as Valve make an extaordinary amount of money from CS:GO, I'm a little surprised, to say the least, that they are not taking this problem more seriously as it could quite easily kill the game, and therefore, their profit. It makes sense (to me atleast) to invest in a (much) better VAC system to deal with cheaters, and dish out harsher punishments if caught cheating. Other games can manage it so I don't buy that Valve are doing everything they can!
As for smurfers, FM7F7-IG6Xthree-WZ8AY whilst these guys aren't doing anything wrong as such, I don't buy the argument that it helps make people better at the game quicker. That's just an excuse used so they can continue to do as they please. People will improve over time, if they are so inclined, regardless of whether they face smurfers or not, so all smurfers are really doing is having a negative effect on the ranking system, which should be of concern to Valve, in my opinion. If the ranking system is skewed (so that multiple account holders are top of the ranking system) then where is the space for the newcomers who are good enough? Over time I'm sure Prime will help solve this problem, but it's doing nothing right now. Pretty much every game I play has either a smurf or a hacker involved, this is clearly not good enough.
And right now I start to hate the game because of it and spending more time on games like Fallout4 and Witcher3.
Good Day....
