This sandwich really looks overstuffed. It might actually taste... intriguingly okay?... but it seems there's too much of everything.

I think I am beginning to notice a pattern in your dining preferences :) sandwiches?
I love olives. Granted, it's an acquired taste and it took me awhile but now I am hooked. I could do a swan dive into the big tub of picholine olives you showed me there. Nice to know that Pittsburgh is looking so nice these days. You know what they used to yell in diners when the kitchen caught fire back in the day....

Cleveland Day 8 (Part 1)
Only 2 hour drive to Pittsburgh from Cleveland? Why not? We only learned about the $10 in tolls after seeing the first toll booth >.<
Pittsburgh is an absolutely gorgeous city, I think the city most in tune with nature that I've ever seen in the US. It's kind of in a valley, with rivers surrounding all or hills surrounding all sides. Our first view of the city as we drove in on I279.
We went to the Strip District first. I guess they were having some kind of event that day, because the entire street was closed to traffic. Made it kind of annoying to drive in, though. First up: Pennsylvania Macaroni Co. Nice place, would visit again. Except olives. I hate olives. I really wish we could have bought some of the fresh pasta they had, but I didn't think it would survive the trip back.
Lunch was at Primanti Bros. Sandwich is ridiculous. I think it was more hype than substance though. I think it was kind of bland and dry - it really needed some condiments.
