If you don't want to get scammed, stop looking for prices below the actual cost from people you don't know.

As long as you make the trade in the same trade window you shouldn't worry.

I know but they from steam support said that will return my items only once... If something like that happends again they cant do anything about it.

Oh, I didn't know they only did it once. With refunds... I guess it's ok, but being scammed?

They'll do it a few times depending on how closely they happen from the last one. If you get scammed regularly then you can expect them to restrict your account as well for dealing with so many fraudulent people/items. That's why you should care about who you trade with instead of for how much.

@LowisYeah: Although its through the steam trading window you can get scammed again. After you trade you activate the game and a few days later you get message that claims that the game is removed from your account caused from payments issues.

@MaximumBunny: Are you sure that they will reverse the trade more than once? I mean in the FAQ it says that is only one time gesture and when i opened a ticket so i can get my items back they reversed the trade and told me that it will be one time only.

I know you can get scammed that way, but I thought that steam would always get your items back as long as you made the whole trade in the same trade window.

From what I remember Steam will help you if the trade was legitimately done through the window - so if it's a fair trade and the gift gets revoked, they might help you. I'm not sure how many times though.

You know what they say, if its too good to be true, it probably is. - Or you could just be safe, rather than sorry :P
