HRK is horrible. You have yourself partially to blame for even visiting that website, let along purchase anything there. :P

I lost nothing except a fair deal of time. But I agree that it's not worth getting upset over, and I'm not upset, either. I'd still prefer to avoid the experience, as it's not exactly a pleasant way of spending my time, so I figured some people might benefit from knowing that it's happening. :)

Something to keep in mind, resellers like HRK aren't there for your satisfaction. They exist to make the almighty dollar, that's it.

This is possibly the least surprising PSA I have ever seen. Statistically the G2A family have no shortage of happy customers or else they wouldn't exist. But amongst many other drawbacks tales of their customer support going awry are legion...

So it turns out that I never knew that HRK is from G2A, and that explains a lot. So this PSA is not really a PSA and actually not surprising in the slightest. I'm removing the [PSA] tag from it and will close the after some more time. Thanks so much for those comments. They made the whole thing be more than worth it, as all the fun I've had in this thread was more than enough to compensate ten times over. As on the tin, HRK does not replace dupes from their GAs, and I have a sneaking suspicion that they don't replace dupes (at least not always), full stop. So watch your back with keys from HRK, especially if they come from their GAs, and even more so if you intend to use them in a GA here.
Context: after wasting untold amounts of my time with asking for screenshots and the whatnot (and, in doing so, deceptively sending clear signals to the effect that they actually intended to replace the key in question), their support told me (in extremely sugarcoated wording straight off their manual of stock answers) that, despite ample evidence of the fact they provided me with a dupe in a GA, they won't replace it because they won't do it and that's final and I can go fuck myself.
That's the first time I get such shit support after being given a dupe, and I've dealt with several GA hosts. When this is compounded with what I already knew of them, I certainly don't see them as worthy of trusting any money with. I mean, if they don't want my money (not that I have any right now, but you get the idea), their competitors do, so that's fine with me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
