Little Help

Someone sent me a key of Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor via e-mail and underneath the key it said "Please don't forget to mark the gift as received after you redeem it. Thanks." I assumed that the person who sent it to me made an entry on this site so I went to go check it out and looking through the giveaways I've entered, It appears that I did not enter one for the aforementioned game. I've already redeemed the code on steam, should I be worried?

And now for my not so little help. I would suggest sending an e-mail reply letting him know what happened and assuming that his account wasn't suspended you two should probably contact a site admin and see if this can be resolved through them. My guess is that someone else had your e-mail listed on their account somehow as only entering 622 giveaways in 9 months I would assume you would remember what games you entered giveaways for and wouldn't just redeem the key if you knew you didn't enter the giveaway.

Probably the giveaway was deleted by the admins/mods after it has finished because the key is free to get

Did you go to Giveaways > View Won?

There should be a gift received yes / no there.

If you legitimately never entered any such giveaway its possible another account had the wrong email or something similar like that and maybe you should contact the person that sent the key and let them know what happened.
