Hello guys!

As you may not know, Assault Android Cactus has been finally released, leaving Steam Early Access after 2 years of development. Yay!

This game is a neat shoot 'em up with a local coop up to 4 players, 25 levels and 9 characters to choose from, fast and challenging gameplay and an astounding soundtrack made by Jeff van Dyck. I've been really, really enjoying this game (25 hours in and I'm still not finished) so I decided to share some love with you and create a giveaway to celebrate the fact that yet another great game managed to leave Early Access.

Now, I'll be glad to hear what do YOU think about this title! Have you played it? If so, what are/were your first impressions? Do you know any similar games you could recommend?

Cheers!

The game sometimes gets somewhat bullet hell-ish, so if it doesn't discourage you then you should definitely enjoy Assault Android Cactus :) Good luck!

The development of the game, the progress was rather steady so maybe that's why? It seems quite reasonable, as the game was playable from the very beginning, it just needed more polish that they have added with time. And yes, the local coop here is rad, an incredibly fun experience :D

Ah, this one. I've seen it on twitter :D At first I was really surprised that it has got such a high note (perhaps due to the fact I evaluate games differently) but all in all I'm really happy for the developers that their game receives such praises :) Thank you for the bump and good luck!

I've had this on my wishlist for a long time. It just kind of dropped off the radar when i decided to ignore Early Access for the most part. So thanks for the reminder, and have a bump :)

I understand you completely! Generally speaking, I'm rather suspicious when it comes to Early Access but here we've got a fine example that if you are reasonable enough you can succeed. Anyway, thanks for the bump! :)

I'm a little confused - a local co-op means that I can play on the same computer only, or I can play through the network with my friends from Steam?

I mean - is there an open lobby, or only on the principle of "invite only from my friends list" like in Rampage Knights?

Unfortunately, there is multiplayer, so there are no lobbies, no matchmaking, no friends lists etc. The local co-op means here that you can plug to your computer more controllers to play with your friends who are there with you, physically, next to you.
